After breaking his wooden sword and struggling in combat, Hoppy transforms into his powered-up form and defeats Don Jose and the bull using his magical abilities. The issue also includes a backup story featuring Benny Beaver and Fuzzy Bear at a restaurant, where the beaver must outwit the mean Mr. Diffle, a character who causes mischief by impersonating his twin brother.
