This issue features two multi-part stories. "Day of the Cat" Part 3 follows Rick Roberts in a racing competition where his vehicle encounters mechanical difficulties and he narrowly avoids collision with a black cat during the race. "Golden Boy" Part 3 stars Clint Curtis, who demonstrates a modified car's enhanced dragstrip performance to a potential buyer, with the vehicle capable of outshining standard cars on the street while remaining practical for ordinary driving. Additionally, a short story titled "Little Lulu" depicts a destructive racing accident at a track event where a blue hot rod crashes spectacularly after losing control, with bystanders rushing to aid the driver.
