Hot Rods and Racing Cars #31

Two hot rodders, Gates and Betsy, prepare their vehicles for a drag race while a character named Wrecks ignores their presence. Ted and Paul compete in a heated race at the dragstrip, with Ted initially taking the lead but Paul eventually winning by slowing down strategically at the mile marker. After the race, the hot rodders pledge to drive responsibly and participate in supervised races sanctioned by the state patrol, with officials approving their commitment to safer driving practices.
