This anthology issue contains three stories: "Indianapolis Speedway Thrills," which depicts racing action at the iconic Indianapolis Motor Speedway featuring vehicles numbered 15 and 45 competing in what the cover describes as "a display of will to win"; "The Flame-Throwing Roadster," a text story about a high school student named John Dunn who builds a hot rod equipped with an exhaust flame-throwing device that impresses (and alarms) his girlfriend Gladys, though it attracts unwanted police attention; and "Speed Davis Fights Ol' Man River," which shows Speed Davis attempting to save a town threatened by catastrophic flooding using a helicopter and emergency power cable installation, with the levee along the river having risen for twenty years.
