The issue features two main stories. "Hot Rod Rodeo" follows Clint Curtis as he matches his driving skills against reckless prairie daredevils, leading to a high-speed chase across the desert where Clint must outmaneuver his dangerous opponents. "The Bike Knights" depicts Clint and young friends who arrive at a railroad station on bicycles; when the Road Knights president asks Clint to take his cousin on a summer outing, Clint agrees but insists on safe driving practices, educating the cousin about the importance of proper safety equipment and responsible vehicle operation.
