"Water Rod" features Clint Curtis and the Road Knights, a group of hot-rod enthusiasts. After Clint and his girlfriend nearly drown in a water-going hot-rodder's vehicle, Clint decides to teach the driver a lesson by building his own amphibious hot rod. Through slow and exacting work, Clint constructs a water-capable vehicle, learning to operate it on both land and water, and ultimately demonstrates his newfound skill to impress the Road Knights club members.
