Hot Rods and Racing Cars #63

This issue features the main story "Clint Curtis and the Road Knights," in which Clint Curtis attempts to race his specially-built high-powered car in an upcoming race, but frantic association officials try to flag down Wally Colby's Chevy to disqualify it for being too powerful for the event. The story also includes a subplot involving a used car dealer's dispute over a Sherman boy's purchase and his subsequent involvement with local toughs. A secondary story, "Taxi-Champ," depicts Wally, a taxi driver, who despite warnings about using his taxi in a race-like manner, ends up competing against a sports car in an impromptu two-car race that escalates into a dangerous high-speed pursuit.
