This issue features three stories: "Local Champion," in which racing driver Clint Curtis of the Road Knights faces dangerous curves on a treacherous South American course; "The Peeler," where hustler Chris Burton, known for his fast cars and hustling on the drag strip, becomes a victim of the jokers he has preyed upon; and "The Inheritance," following Bob Linden, whose classmates own hot rods while he drives a dead car, until he inherits a vehicle that could solve his transportation problems—though Mr. Hall and the Road Knights have plans to help him and his friend Ezzie get their cars in working order.
