This anthology issue contains at least two stories: "The Terrible Targa," in which Ranger Dox, a racing favorite, is told to throw a race in Southern Europe by threatening his sister's life unless he loses, leading him to contact authorities about the blackmail scheme; and "Drag Strip," featuring Dick Westbrook, a hot rodder whose father threatens to keep him out of the racing club due to his reputation, while Dick plans to prove himself at an upcoming strip race. A third story, "Duncan Winner," shows Kery dominating modified stock car races in nearby towns and being recruited by Bob Gray to compete on the West Coast and eventually in Europe.
