I Love You #20
This issue contains two stories. In "I Love You," a woman desperate to leave behind her past love learns that the man she loved has sailed away on a ship, and she encounters a ship's captain searching for the Monaco Queen. In "Love Laughed," famous theater critic Walter Cornell dismisses a young playwright named Jane Horton's work as a flop, but when he meets her in person and takes her to lunch at a converted mansion, he begins to reconsider his judgment of both her play and her talent. The second story follows Lucille's reunion with an old flame named Jimmy Peters from her hometown, leading to complications when Jimmy's current fiancée Alicia discovers his past feelings for Lucille, creating tension among the three characters.
