I Love You #52

This issue is an anthology containing multiple stories. The lead story, "Jealous Love," follows a narrator who gives his heart to Dana Stevens but discovers the torments of jealousy when Glenn, a rival suitor, repeatedly manages to find Dana and vie for her affections despite the narrator's attempts to keep them apart. The story culminates in a dramatic confrontation where Glenn and the narrator's ex-girlfriend Mary become entangled, leading to Glenn driving away in a car. A second story, "Martha Marsden Meditates," presents a meditation on modern courtship and parental approval, using the example of a young man named Burt who meets a girl at the beach and brings her home, ultimately defending his right to make his own romantic decisions independent of family disapproval.
