Ibis the Invincible encounters the mystical snake people in two connected tales. In the first story, Ibis confronts Sir Hector, a wandering spirit under the control of a snake priest, and battles to free both Hector and his companion Taia from the priest's evil spell. In the second story, "Ibis Breaks a Heart," Ibis investigates a mysterious incense pot at a city museum that emits peculiar fumes capable of paralyzing a guard, uncovering another scheme tied to the snake priest's magical powers.
