Illustrated Stories of the Operas: Carmen #1

A military officer named Jose falls in love with Carmen, a fiery cigarette factory worker, but her tempestuous nature and jealousy lead to conflict and tragedy. When Jose is arrested and imprisoned for his involvement with Carmen, he is later freed, but Carmen's passionate demands and refusal to be controlled drive a wedge between them.
