Indian Chief #17
White Eagle, a Seminole chief, smokes the sacred pipe with other tribal leaders and pledges to bring a message of peace to his people, ending their conflict with neighboring tribes. When hostile Navajo warriors kidnap White Eagle and attempt to blame him for warlike actions, he must escape their treachery—battling an alligator in the river and returning to expose the true aggressors. White Eagle then faces further danger from the Navajo, who capture him and force him through a perilous gauntlet at their pueblo, but he ultimately defeats his enemies and restores peace among the tribes.
