Indian Chief #18
White Eagle, a Sioux chief, is pursued by enemy raiders after being accused of treachery by Bear Paw, who claims White Eagle led them to the Four Outway Horse Raiders. White Eagle fights to prove his innocence while evading capture, using knowledge of the land—particularly a waterfall—to escape and slow his pursuers. Meanwhile, a Pueblo speaker claiming a vision from the sun directs the Navaho to plan an attack on the Sioux, intending to ambush them at nightfall and take Navaho scalps before the other warriors return from their raid.
