Indian Fighter #8
Indian Fighter #8 The issue presents two interconnected stories. The first involves a runner carrying a message during a colonial conflict—an ambushed Indian is intercepted by hostile forces intent on preventing the English from receiving warning of a French attack. Meanwhile, Wild Bill Hickok pursues a separate thread: a friendly Blackfoot Indian has been murdered for gold, scalped by an ambushed Sioux, and Little Eagle—the Indian youth who learned to fly from Chief Red Cloud—seeks vengeance against those responsible. Bill infiltrates a Sioux encampment, discovering the scalps were obtained through treachery orchestrated by the unscrupulous agent Ben Bryson and the villainous Tall Snake, who have been supplying rifles to the tribes. The stories converge as Bill works to expose the conspiracy and restore justice while navigating the dangerous frontier politics of competing tribal interests and settler ambitions.
