Indians #12
This issue contains two stories. "Lone Wolf of the Hurons" depicts a cavalry colonel's encounter with a lone Indian rider who approaches a fort to negotiate, only to reveal himself as part of a coordinated attack; the colonel and his troops ultimately repel the assault and trap the attackers. "Long Bow," by Capt. Stuart Kerrigan, recounts an old medicine man's narrative about a giant totem that once stood on a mountain, before being destroyed by fire brought by youthful riders; Long Bow gathers his people to learn the legend of the Dawned—a prophecy from when their fathers were children.
