Inside Crime The issue contains two stories. "Shanghai Chicken" follows a criminal operation in which a character known as the Shanghai Chicken becomes an unreliable partner, leading Shanghai Kelley to have him transported far away on a ship; the story ends with the Shanghai Chicken's eventual capture and death by rope. In the second story, a group of criminals plan and execute a heist of a Tylerville Bank replica being used as a movie set in a warehouse, but their timing goes wrong when they detonate explosives prematurely, resulting in chaos and failure.
