Jesse James #22 The issue contains at least two stories. In the first, a woman named Nancy Blaine seeks out Jesse James because she fears a new sheriff will interfere with her mining payroll deliveries; Jesse agrees to help her and devises a plan involving a fight with a character named Bridgers to scare off the sheriff. In the second story, Bat Masterson pursues Dave Rudabaugh and his gang through a blizzard, taking shelter at a cabin where he encounters Rudabaugh's wife and daughter; Bat uses a flaming brand to drive the outlaws from the cabin and apprehend them.
