"The Devil Machine" features Jet Powers confronting a catastrophic threat when a radioactive dust cloud begins falling to Earth. Jet and his team discover the dust originates from outer space and contains tiny radioactive particles that react to magnetic fields. Using a magneti-gravity machine designed to emit radio-gravity rays, they attempt to gather the particles and launch them back into space. The story expands to reveal contact with intelligent beings from Mars who have been transmitting signals to Earth and are now approaching in their spacecraft, seemingly drawn by the same dust cloud phenomenon that threatens humanity.
