John Wayne Adventure Comics #14

In "Operation Peeping John," Sergeant Wayne leads a military unit to stop enemy artillery positioned in the hills, but a maniacal enemy soldier named Dodie repeatedly interferes with their plans, attacking Wayne and his men with explosives and aerial assaults. After fierce combat, Wayne pursues and defeats Dodie, ultimately capturing him and turning him over to the sheriff. The issue also includes an educational feature on rodeo bronc busting, explaining the techniques and dangers of the sport, including the ten-second ride requirement and the use of spurs to make horses more ornery.
