John Wayne Adventure Comics #21

The issue contains two stories. The first involves John Wayne fighting a large fire at native houses while keeping water pressure up. The second story follows John Wayne as a sheriff dealing with a Russian imposter named Farouk who was making oil duplicates and deceiving the locals into producing oil for him; John uncovers the deception, and Farouk is ultimately defeated. A third shorter story appears to involve John Wayne in a jail setting where he deals with criminals attempting to stage a breakout, ultimately preventing the escape and sending the criminals back to their cells.
