John Wayne Adventure Comics #29

"Black Gold" follows John Wayne as he becomes entangled in a dangerous conflict involving black market gold dealings and a sinister killer known as Bomba. After Wayne is twice accused of murder on Rusty Hill, he teams up with another man to track down Bomba while avoiding pursuit from suspicious locals who believe Wayne is the killer. The story culminates with Wayne pursued through snowy terrain by armed men, leading to a confrontation where he must prove his innocence and stop Bomba's operation.
