John Wayne Adventure Comics #9

John Wayne attempts to stop a desperate rodeo operator who has been posing as him to pull off a swindle involving a hidden fortune in a glass bucket containing $200 and twenty-three silver dollars, using a code word known only to the conspirators. When Wayne confronts the impostor at a jailhouse, a gunfight ensues with the fake Wayne challenging the real Wayne to a shootout. A second story titled "Braveheart" follows a young Native American warrior chosen by the Cheyenne tribe's chief to learn hunting and become the greatest warrior, facing off against the tribe's dreaded enemy Yellow Less.
