A teenage girl named Jonesy attempts to help build confidence in an awkward boy by offering him dancing lessons and arranging a date, but her matchmaking efforts go hilariously awry when she accidentally gives him the wrong girl's phone number. On Thanksgiving Day, Jonesy tries to contribute to the family dinner by bringing a store-bought sandwich to share, which her mother dismissively identifies as her only contribution. Later, when Jonesy invites the boy and his friends over for Thanksgiving dinner, chaos ensues as a loose turkey crashes the gathering and disrupts the meal.
