The issue contains two stories. "The Pull Down from the Rear" follows Judo Joe as he encounters criminals and must evade police, with the story interrupted by instructional judo sequences demonstrating the titular technique. A second story involves a psychiatrist who uses hypnosis on a patient named Mr. Jones to put him into a deep sleep and control his mind, instructing him to obey suggestions; when Jones awakens and is dismissed, the psychiatrist and another man eagerly pursue him, revealing a sinister plot underway. Throughout, the comic includes detailed judo instruction panels showing proper form and technique.
