Jungle Comics #12

This anthology issue features multiple jungle adventure stories. "Camilla—Queen of the Lost Empire" follows Camilla as giant insects attack her people; she is seized by one of the creatures while her companions plan an assault on Von Blumbs City armed with spears and ant poison, and mounted soldiers ride out to meet them. "Fantomah—Mysteries of the Jungle" depicts warplanes in combat where pilots lose control in a sirocco wind while parachutists descend; Fantomah exerts her power over the African jungle cats, which join the aerial battle as the sirocco blows some paratroopers toward the Brazilian plateau. A third story involves a young man visiting Father Andre's village, discovering the old man dead, and later confronting Baron Logh in the mines of Bactu over a slave named Tabu, leading to plans to defeat the Baron.
