In "Dangerous Company," a wife becomes concerned when vicious gossip about her husband John spreads through their social circle, threatening their marriage. A coworker named Hal whom the wife has never met becomes the subject of office rumor, with one woman claiming he is an engaged man who has been flirting with her; the wife's friend Claire becomes entangled in spreading these lies.
