Justice Traps the Guilty #15
Justice Traps the Guilty #15 (April-May 1950) This anthology issue contains at least two stories adapted from True Police and FBI cases. "The Fire Bug" involves the New York Police and FBI conducting a systematic roundup of known and suspected arsonists after a series of fires, including one at a building where newspapers were stored in the lobby; the investigation reveals a woman lost her lives in one fire, leading to the capture of the pyromaniac responsible. "Master of Flim-Flam" tells the story of Windt E. Barton, an educated man who became a con artist despite his background as a lawyer, teacher, and school superintendent, using various aliases and schemes to defraud victims before his eventual arrest.
