This issue contains two police case stories. In the first story, a criminal named Dayton flees in a stolen cab after a high-speed chase with police, ultimately driving off a cliff; a cop remarks that while he wanted Dayton alive for trial, justice was served when Dayton died. The second story, "Blackmailers!," follows a man who visits a woman named Anna Haber at her apartment door under mysterious circumstances, attempting to blackmail her by threatening to reveal information about her father unless she complies with his demands.
