Kerry Drake #10

Detective Kerry Drake investigates a case involving a criminal nicknamed "Meatball" who has evaded capture. After apprehending most of Meatball's gang, Drake searches for the elusive leader, eventually tracking him to a heating plant where a confrontation ensues. The story also involves a subplot with a character named Mickey and a woman, where poisoning and blackmail play key roles in a twisted scheme, culminating in Mickey being implicated in a murder he may not have committed.
