Kerry Drake #14

Detective Kerry Drake investigates "The Bullseye Murder Syndicate" in a case involving a criminal named Bullseye who leaves clues written on invisible paper. After Drake discovers Bullseye's hideout and a plot involving Frenchy's kidnapped child, a police plane spots Bullseye fleeing over a lake, where he is shot down.
