Kid Montana #17

This issue is an anthology containing two main stories. "Fiddlefoot" features Kid Montana discovering that a man he knows is actually his brother, a wanted outlaw nicknamed "Hooker" who has been eluding capture across the West. The resolution finds Kid Montana defending his brother against a bushhacker, ultimately leading to a confrontation where Kid Montana must face his brother's criminal past. The issue also includes "Poor Prospector," a text story by John R. Cook recounting his experiences as a buffalo hunter and gold prospector in the Old West, including adventures with military officers and mining expeditions in Colorado and New Mexico.
