"The Badge: Three Sheriffs in One" depicts a lawman riding into an outlaw roost expecting treachery, where he confronts criminals with a warrant, leading to a gunfight resolved when a sheriff emerges victorious and a derringer-wielding ace doesn't miss. The Kid Montana story also features his encounter with Native Americans near his new ranch and property, where he interacts with indigenous peoples and faces wilderness challenges including navigating treacherous waters in a canoe that nearly capsizes in roaring rapids and creek currents.
