Kiddie Kapers #1

A child character finds a shiny object in the woods and encounters various animal characters who try to claim it or convince him to give it up. After a series of misunderstandings and comedic encounters involving a bird character and discussions about the object's value, the story concludes with a large character offering to pay for insurance on the item and become its beneficiary, hinting at schemes to come.
