Kit Carson #1

This issue contains two stories. "Kit Carson and the Blackfeet Warriors" depicts Kit Carson as a mountain man whose rifle helps pioneers open up wilderness territories by hunting Indians, with the story showing Carson obtaining a new "Repeater" rifle to end his battle with the Blackfeet. In the second story, "Lame Johnny," a sheriff's deputy named Johnny Pins pursues two miners who have robbed gold shipments and stolen $5,000 in cash, ultimately catching the rustlers and recovering the stolen money while earning a $200 reward.
