Kit Carson #7 The issue contains two distinct stories. In the main tale, a woman named Elsa Parker is kidnapped by the Comanche war chief Tall Wolf and his warriors, prompting her desperate father to offer many buffalo for her return, but Tall Wolf refuses, coveting Elsa himself. Kit Carson and Abel, alongside other warriors, pursue Tall Wolf's band to rescue her, ultimately engaging the Comanches in battle and defeating them. In a secondary story, a man named Tex Gregory is shot and left for dead in an alley by gunrunners; Kit Carson and Marshal Benton work to apprehend the criminals, Tex helps identify the culprits despite his injuries, and they succeed in capturing the gang and placing Tex in protective custody.
