Konga #14

The issue features two stories. In the lead story, "Master Plan," the alien Jilakos have ravaged the universe and now prepare to conquer Earth, with only Konga standing in their way. After a troubled crossing to Baja California, Konga arrives in the desert where he encounters Red Con Three, a Jilako representative, and together they head toward the alien space ships for the final phase of the attack on Earth. In the second story, "Green Fields," a war-weary soldier contemplates desertion, revealing his traumatic past and moral crisis as he struggles with the choice between following military orders and preserving his humanity.
