With the aid of Marshal Mike, who is secretly still on the side of the law, Lash escapes and pursues the outlaws across the desert. During a stagecoach robbery, Macklin—an old drover working with the gang—has a change of heart and helps Lash overcome the criminals, leading to their capture. The story concludes with Lash clearing up matters involving a big rancher named Ferris and his relationship with his daughter Claire.
