This is an anthology issue containing multiple crime stories. "The Four-Time Loser" follows Inspector Matt Brady and his son Larry, a detective, as they pursue the notorious gangster Al Greco, who has escaped and is resuming his criminal activities. When Brady confronts Greco, the gangster and his associates attack the inspector, forcing Greco to shoot Brady; Greco then flees, with Larry vowing to capture him for the fourth time. Another story featured in the issue involves a gangster named Eddie and accomplices who plan an elaborate getaway using a hidden stash of stolen money buried near a farmhouse, though their scheme faces complications when they're pursued.
