"Let's Pretend" is an anthology comic adapting classic fairy tales and fantasy stories from a CBS radio program. The visible stories include "The Riddle," in which a prince and princess must discover the name of a magical manikin who has spun straw into gold, with the climactic revelation being "Rumpelstiltskin"; and "Donkey Skin," featuring a princess who refuses to marry and is transformed into a creature wearing a donkey's hide as a disguise.
