Li'l Abner Joins the Navy #nn

Li'l Abner, having escaped from Needlenoose after sixty years, is persuaded to join the Navy as a proud serviceman. After completing his first cruise to Hawaii, Abner returns on leave and encounters a Navy recruiting officer, leading to a chaotic confrontation at the recruiting station. The story follows Abner's comedic misadventures as various characters—including sailors and civilians—engage in slapstick action around the recruitment efforts and Abner's return to Dogpatch.
