Li'l Genius #16

This anthology issue contains two stories. The first features a young boy whose squeaky voice causes trouble when his mother sends him to apologize for upsetting a girl, but an hour later he and his friend are bouncing around so vigorously that they create loud "boink" sounds that further disturb the neighbor. In the second story, "Li'l Genius," a precocious child attempts to help an adult with a colossal painting project by applying toothpaste and shaving cream to it, turning the masterpiece into a disaster. The issue also includes "Marvin the Matador," in which the famous bullfighter performs before an enthusiastic crowd, swirling his red cape as thundering hooves and dust clouds surround him in the arena.
