Li'l Tomboy #97 The issue contains two stories. In the first, a young couple painting their house is watched by three rabbits and a turtle who observe them from a nearby bush. When the woman suggests leaving food for the animals, the rabbits retrieve it and decide to help the couple by pushing a ladder, which accidentally falls and nearly causes an accident—leading the animals to realize they should mind their own business. In the second story, Li'l Tomboy tries to help her friend Rollo get into a football game by finding him a position on the team, but her attempts to convince the coach backfire when Rollo becomes exhausted during tryouts.
