Life Story #10

The issue contains two stories. "Life Story" follows Helen, who recovers from an illness in a sanitarium and falls in love with a fellow patient named Greg, but he leaves without returning her feelings. Despite her heartbreak and months of yearning, Helen eventually learns that Greg has found happiness elsewhere, and she decides to move forward and rebuild her own life. "Foolish Obsession" tells of Ruthie, a woman who considers herself a misfit and refuses to participate in social gatherings or enjoy life, instead isolating herself; her friend Ellen attempts to convince her to overcome her self-imposed exile and try to find happiness like others do.
