Life Story #2

This anthology issue contains at least two stories: the first follows a woman who, after her boyfriend Timmy leaves during a storm, meets a policeman and later devotes herself to nursing orphaned children at a hospital, finding purpose in helping the poor and sick. "On the Altar of Romance" depicts Sylvia Lewis, who removes an engagement ring from a man named Adam at a graveyard, unable to sacrifice her future for his failure; Adam later leaves town after liquidating his savings, and Sylvia reflects that she wasted her best years unable to accept his lack of success. The issue also includes an exclusive interview with actor Tom Drake discussing his career, personal philosophy, and life experiences.
