Life Story #7 "I Gambled with Romance" follows a man named Paul who meets and falls in love with a woman named Lydia after being released from prison on a legal technicality. Paul courts Lydia and eventually brings her to meet his parents, but his father—Terry Creston, who works in display at the Carling Company—initially disapproves due to class differences.
