Lion #14

Lion #14 is an anthology comic featuring three main stories. "Outlaw of Space" follows Captain Condor, an outlaw space pilot in the year 3000 who is pursued by the dictator's Z-planes; after a battle in space near the moons Titan and Hyperion, Condor is forced to crash-land and must escape before the Z-planes close in. "The Commandos" is a military adventure in which two British commandos, Jack and Pete, are dispatched to destroy a radar station at La Vaste and later engage in combat with German forces, ultimately commandeering a runaway car down a hillside to escape. The issue also includes "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser," a humorous prose story by Tom Stirling about a schoolboy named Jingo who experiments with a science master's invisibility apparatus with comedic results, plus a "World-Wide Quiz" featuring trivia questions about animals, geography, and natural phenomena.
