"Outlaw of Space" by Frank S. Pepper follows Captain Condor in the year 3000 as he battles a geek dictator ruling Earth and must overcome both an electronvision watch-tower and a robot watcher to escape with mining slaves and retrieve a captured space-ship. "Big Hank—the Soft-Hearted Heavyweight" by Duncan Matheson depicts a boxer from Honduras named Hamilton Caesar Jones who, despite his fierce fighting reputation, is a gentle soul; when his manager Tich pressures him into serious training, Big Hank ultimately refuses to fight in a championship match because he cannot bring himself to harm his opponent. The issue also features a reader competition called "Spotters," offering 1,000 prizes including bicycles, cameras, watches, and footballs for those who can identify hidden objects within sequential picture clues.
