This anthology issue contains three main stories: "The Riddle of Racing Car 14," featuring Captain Condor, Space-Man of the Unknown Moon, by Frank S. Pepper, in which the space pilot and his companion Pete modify spinners on their craft to enable underwater travel in search of rocket fuel; a historical adventure titled "The Lion," in which the villain Gelda's scheme to use the British and Roman forces against each other ultimately fails when the warrior Gelda witnesses an approaching chariot; and "Jingo Jones and His Invisibiliser," by Tom Stirling, featuring a schoolboy with a gadget that renders objects invisible, leading to comedic situations when he uses it during a game. The issue also includes a "World-Wide Quiz" feature with geography, history, and visual puzzles for readers to solve.
